Tom Leclerc is a French improviser and composer of contemporary electronic music. With his modular synthesizer and his lights, he works on improvised and pseudo-generative music combining meditation and emotions in sound. The challenge today is to be able to film performances in new places. A logistical and physical challenge that led him to the top of the mountains and to the edge of the ocean. He can thus be as close as possible to what inspires him, nature. These constraints imply being self- sufficient in energy and integrating a sobriety approach in the use of digital devices.
Tom Leclerc uses his technical engineering skills for his research around digital arts and with an appetite for the link between nature and the artist. Rethinking the consumption of art and its construction are today at the center of his reflections.
