Atomic Phantom is a music project by Japanese artist, designer and composer Jyoti Naoki Eri, who is residing in Auroville, India since 2005.

He was born in an artist family in Kyoto. From birth he was exposed to art and culture spanning a wide range of disciplines. He studied traditional sculpture and practices various art-forms such as calligraphy, painting, ceramic, as well as landscape & space design and more as a profession. All these experiences nourish his sound creation creating a serene atmosphere through sound and silence.

By curating this compilation album he wishes to offer a positive and inclusive perspective in order to look at life with deep introspection in an aspiration for constructive collective change in the future.

His newly established music label Nādāsana was inspired by the legendary music labels such as Em:t, Ninja Tune, Obscure Records, ECM, Gondwana, Leaving Records, Daisy World and more.

Album Concept:

It is year 2102. An intergalactic sonic research laboratory - Nādāsana - has launched their first sonic space probe mission into the majestic galaxy, Messier 31 - The Andromeda Galaxy.

Following the example of the golden record of NASA’s Voyager project which was led by Dr Carl Sagan(1934-1996), Nādāsana has curated fine ambient music pieces to establish contact with sensory conscious beings in outer space through sounds created on planet Earth.
Nādāsana considers ambient music to be music of evolutive creation, encouraging inclusiveness through time and space. Doing so, it opens a poetic and spiritual sphere of music for consideration which could offer a glimpse of the hidden stream of the eternal sonic creations of the universe. Nādāsana is an experiment to uncover the ancient mystery of AUM – Everything is Sound.

NOTE: This project is an imaginary concept (as of 2022). The selection of music can be highly biased, however Nādāsana’s love to music is honest and genuine.
